Data Center Session

The Data Center continues to evolve with Virtualized and Bare Metal workloads requiring increased performance, scale, and availability.  These workloads demand different solutions to optimize their respective deployments.  Come learn how:

  • Cisco’s Hyper converged solution drives further consolidation and simplicity within the virtualized data center architecture
  • Cisco’s Flash Storage dramatically improves application availability, performance, and scale.

Security Session

In the morning session, learn how to protect against advanced threats while reducing complexity and cost.  We’ll discuss how the industry’s first adaptive, threat-focused next-generation firewall (NGFW), Cisco ASA with FirePOWER Services, delivers integrated threat defense across the entire attack continuum. It combines proven ASA firewall with Sourcefire threat and advanced malware protection in a single device.  Additionally, we’ll show you how Advanced Malware Protection on both the ASA and AMP for Endpoints can help safeguard against zero-day and zero-hour threats through retrospective security.

The afternoon will offer attendees:

the opportunity to whiteboard with Cisco SEs or participate in 2 labs is designed to help attendees understand integration of Sourcefire with the ASA. In the ASA with FirePOWER lab, the student will be able to deploy and configure the Cisco ASA with FirePOWER Services and will get experience with the FireSIGHT Management Center as well as Cisco Security Manager. The AMP Lab will allow attendees to experience how AMP for Networks and AMP for Endpoints can both improve your organization’s responses to malware events and coordinate with a overarching security approach.
